Launch of new C Class

I've been sent an invite to a launch event on 16 / 17 June, at Mercedes Stafford, Stoke, Stourbridge, Walsall, Wolverhampton &/or Worcester.

"This will be the first opportunity to view the most eagerly anticipated new car this year, and give you the chance to book your own personal test drive experience"
"Attractions and events for the whole family, with light refreshments served"
"It's also your chance to win exclusive VIP tickets to the F1 British Grand Prix"

There's also a "Unique Used Car Event" going on at the same time, where you can win a big telly.

I'm not going. Does anybody want the invitation before it goes in the shredder?

There's a couple of 'new' C-classes on the forecourt of my local Dealers (MB Dartford) now (30/05/07) but they are both 'de-badged'.

Just seen the ad on Sky TV. They use a white one!!!! Looks a cool ad though - but not sure about the car tbh.

I saw that ad too. I think the white looked brilliant, really stood out- Possibly Mercedes are trying to distance themselves from, ahem, the SILVER colour?!

Got an invite from MB nottingham.

Saw one in the flesh in Mallorca a couple of weeks ago. Have to say that I wasnt too keen on the photos I have seen but in the flesh I was pretty impressed.

Absolutely. Old Honda Accord round the back there. Might try playing with it in Photoshop and submit to MB! (Will do the Olympics logo after)

HOWEVER... there was an article suggesting that a few years down the line, that car on the second hand market may well suffer as other fashion colours have. Remember that strong lime/yellow green of the mid nineties? Not really about nowadays. That pearl, colour changing thang never took off either.
