Firstly apologies for not being on here recently, more life stuff then I would care to undertake but im on top of it now!!

So whos going then?

im not driving this year having gone in the 55 last year where she averaged some miles an hour at a very respectable 25mpg!

I shall be team one tank again this year (last year my 160,000 mile W210 E55 did the 400 miles from Crondall to maison blanche campsite on one tank of fuel, much to the annoyance of everybody else I travelled with who were slower and thirstier) as my mate is taking his coughs and sneezal Leon, Dunlop `til dawn shall be there with our new marquee and cinema inbetween the porsche curbs and start and finish chicane on the outside of the circuit, pop in and say hi!

Got back late Monday after 4 nights camping, our first Le Mans. Trip organised by Lycian Events / First Tickets, site was called Porsche Owners International (although there were many other types of car, including a couple of MB's). Catering provided by Relish was excellent, as was everything else about the site. It's on the beginning of Porsche Curves close to the viewing bank, super place to watch qualifying on Thursday night! Entrance is the main Beausejours entrance on the roundabout, then follow the dusty track almost to the end - so little passing traffic so not much dust problem! Not much noise apart from the cars on track - apart from Friday night, but that was just one antisocial mob outside our site.

Lycian are thinking of having the entire area next year, which would be even better. Worth a look if you're thinking of attending next year.
