Hello all
Some time ago I posted on here with regards to the wells that the injectors sitting in were full of diesel on my 1997 W210 E300.To my shame I have just continued running the car with the problem as it ran OK,but now the leak appears to have got significantly worse. So much so that when I take the plastic cover off that protects the injectors there is diesel spraying out from the injector itself(it appears).I can't get close enough to see where exactly it is coming from.A friend who is a mechanic and has worked on a fair few MB's is coming to look at it tomorrow.Does anybody have any thoughts as to what it might be and more importantly how do I fix it cheaply(if possible). This 1st injector well is now empty of diesel but the others are still full up.The car runs well when going and doesn't appear to be running on 5 cylinders.Any advice would be greatfully received as always.
Many thanks
Regards Rob

The older models suffered with the injector leak off lines becoming perished and brittle with age.
I would try getting a length of fresh line and replacing it first if have not already done so.
Any good motor factor should sell it buy the length, usually 1 meter and you cut to size

Thanks for that, would anybody happen to have a MB part number as I am in France at the moment and if I have a part no it makes it easier with MB to explain what I need!!!!!!!!
Many thanks
