Leather covered phone mount for W124

HI folks!

I need to fit a car kit to the Coupe but dont want to drill the wood on the dash.

I know that you can get those Leather covered mounts for the W124's.

Does anyone have any kicking about in Mushroom or Beige Leather at all (or both) ?

You can get them from "Kuda" on Ebay germany about £20

They are easy to re cover, just go to any car trim place and get a snip of leather the righ colour and Evostik on

I looked into this myself and wanted a kuda mount. But these are going to be for a LHD vehicle and look stupid in a RHD car, if not just get in the way.

A company called dashmount do RHD ones, but they are expensive. In the end I opted for a brodit active holder. The mount is specific for the car, and then the holder is specific to the phone, which swivels and charges your phone. I hardwired the charger to the car electrics so that the ashtray didn't have to be open all the time and I'm very pleased with the result.

Put one of these on my W211 (they come in all the main MB colours I think) and from memory it was well under £20. None intrusive fit and dead easy to do (even I did it without Ian Walkers help! )

Tried these guys today.

They are very helpful but said they had non left.

It's not something they would order either nowadays for a W124.

He told me to try Kuda but I they don;t seem to stock Mushroom leather ones.

Only Black.

I need two in Mushroom leather (one for each car).

Can anyone help?

I bought mine of ebay about 6 months ago, according to the seller it was his last one. mines blue in colour, I'm shortly going to recolour it mushroom, I'll let you know how it goes.

I know this may not fit but I noticed one thrown in the boot of my soon to be collected CLK that you can have if you can adapt it to fit.. Its in grey..
