Greetings

I'm thinking of changing all the bulbs on my C350 in and out to LEDs.

Anyone done this and have any advice or a list of bulbs I would need to do this.

Any help would be appreciated .

You should be looking for CANBUS error free bulbs mostly, I think the size is T10 for the interior with perhaps one festoon type for the rear interior. Front dome light covers are very difficult to pop off and easy to snap a lug, needs to be done that way but it's probably wise to buy a sat of nylon trim removal tools to make the job easier. Don't worry, they're only about a fiver.

This seems a good package

Just check for colour match when fitting front dome left and right, these bulbs wont match 100% when fitted side by side. Not a problem when the lights are 4 foot apart but as regards the centre unit by the mirror it'll bug you if they are a shade apart and only 3 inches apart in you field of vision.

Will the dimmer function still work? I.e lights dimming before switching off after the car is locked?

Absolute pain in the ar$e on mercs, Wish I had never started. The led's will start to fail after about a month, maybe sooner in the winter. MB's don't run at 12v so they burn out alot quicker.

I dont the complete interior.. its like day light at night lol no problems since...

I've done the interior of my SL without problems. Interior is much brighter at night.

It's worth getting a selection of different length festoon bulbs, 36, 38, 40, 42mm as the quoted lengths of the original bulbs don't always seem to be that accurate!
