Left Mirror not heating up

Strange problem, the left electric mirror is not heating up and defrosting, could it be the wrong the mirror glass been put in or connection pulled apart?, does anyone know how to safely remove the glass?

get the mirror glass pointing down as far as you can with the switch, look in the top of the mirror, & you will see a wire clip. Unclip the wore & ease out the mirror glass.
Two small wires are attached to the rear of the glass - these are for the heating.

Thanks, seems one of the connections had come away, I have re-joined it and hope it works

I'd guess it's that, mate, you'll have noticed that they're pretty poor connectors.

If the temperature drops BELOW 15c (60F) the mirrors heat up, if you go outside now and turn on ignition the should heat up, you will be able to feel the heat on the back of your fingers after about 60 seconds.
