left the Lights on chime

Hi, Is it possible to get the lights on chime when you open the passenger door as well as the drivers door in a Vito?

I am forever leaving the lights on in day light say after rain and park up at home, I slide over and get out passenger side as I park next to a fence.

Could this be something that star coding would sort out?

I always hoped there might be a way of changing mine to a more pleasnt tone.
On the c class its a horrible nasty beep.

Even 20 yr old mondeo's had better.

I had a bleep with the old cluster but the new advance cluster gives the american style chime but only drivers door.

Just back from an mot and yes I left the lights on again.
There must be some way of making it chime when the passenger door is opened as well as the drivers door.

Can you retro-fit auto lights? If your van has rain-sensing wipers the sensor for the lights may already be there.

Cant you just park the van the opposite way round so you can come out the drivers door?

Smile, No I reverse up my drive next to a fence between next door and up to my garage door so the only way in is the passenger side.

Bill I would love to do the auto wipers and lights and I can see that would over come it.
I do also need a new screen soon as mine is chipped.
Just need Richard to say if it can be done.
