Let Battle Commence. Foam Cannon test

@LeeJV Hi Lee, have you ever done a test to see what difference different dwell times make to the effectiveness of snow foam?
Yes buddy sure have.

in general with BH specifically, when thicker it does allow a longer dwell time, although this can change depending on the surface tension of your lsp.
If you have a coating with very low surface tension (very slick and Hydrophobic) then the heavier or thicker foam tends to slide off the panel too fast, meaning its less effective as softening the dirt., however this can also help remove the loose dirt easier esp with BH as it has a better wetting agent.

In the same principle if your LSP is not so Hydrophobic it will dwell longer as the coating doesn't reppel the foam. So has the same benefit In dwell time but won't be as effective at releasing the dirt as it will have bonded more.

The biggest challenge is finding the right foam for your LSP and weather conditions.

So in the winter BH is very good not only in terms of cleaning power, also dwell time.
In the warmer weather I use a thicker PH neutral foam as in most cases your only removing dust, so it doesn't dry too fast on the panel and reduces chemical staining on sensitive trims and rubber seals and plastics.
