Mean machine!Woke up this morning, pulled the blinds and noticed my neighbour has a new car. Nice way to start 2025

That's what I thought, I paused for a least 5 minutes admiring, even my son came to look too. Just noticed that the roof is more shiny than the rest of the car, it's definitely been wrapped or ppf'd.Mean machine!

I can feel a 'who can make the most cold start noise in the morning' competition coming on.

???? When I was sellng cars we always transferred the plate off the previous car to the new one before collection....same as when I had one...it was transferred to the new car whilst being prepped for collection.I'm asking because of the private plate but I'm aware used cars can come with the plate.

Definitely true of the previous generation, but the current generation (2018+) is a world away from that. Wind noise is much improved over the previous generation but is still noticeable when you first drive one at high speed.Personally I think most people who like them have never driven one more than a few miles....agricultural does not cover it!

Personally I don't even like the looks of the later ones....they jusy scream premiership player or rapper with lots of cash and no taste.... the earlier more simply designed ones look much better to my eye.
I doubt it'll ever be taken off road, I think the biturbo is too fragile for off roading, something will probably break under rough conditions. Best kept for image and cool factor
Agree, the most off roading that will do, is bouncing up the kerb. Probably driven by the Wife, on the School run.

True....like the new Defender.... not a patch on the old one and very fragile off road. Much better on road of course.....but that was not the old ones audience. Some of the local farmers I know had one when they first came out....most have gone back to a good, used late PROPER Defender. To fragile inside and out for everyday farm life, to much electrical trickery to break.......to much Made in Chelsea....not enough Emmerdale!I doubt it'll ever be taken off road, I think the biturbo is too fragile for off roading, something will probably break under rough conditions.
