Lewis Hamilton loses License !!!!

No. Its 100% correct.
Silly boy.
You would have thought he would have had his fill of fast driving on the track.

Thats the fine I got in Denmark when going a bit faster than that, but not taken off the road with a ban.

Does that mean the ban is effective in the UK too

France was once a place you could stretch your legs but not any more. Anything over 160kph on the motorway gets dealt with strictly.

I see that Shumacher is being investigated after his drive to the airport recently - the one where the taxi driver let him take the wheel - he was late for a plane with his family and so put his foot down.

We were all young once and I tended to learn by my mistakes. Hopefully he will learn from this one.

With his money I think I would buy myself a helicopter for those longer journeys. :)

The cost for that is the min of £500 per hour, and the chopper can cost a million

Prices all vary and lots of Formula 1 drivers either own, or charter various types of aircraft.

We go by helicopter to Lundy Island , they are supplied by Castle Air ...

Costs in the region of £1200 per hour to hire it , hence why Lundy tries desperately to keep it in the air as much as possible when doing transfers ...

Colin McRae........RIP
Unforgiving way to travel when a problem arrises.

Life can certainly kick you in the teeth. Graham Hill springs to mind, the costs might seem expensive to us mortals but perhaps it might not be so outrageous to more fortunate people. Damon Hill regularly flies into Exeter in his large private aircraft and if you've got it, then spend it. :D

I note Howard mentioned an Air charter company :)

I remember when this company owned one car garage in East Devon, the owner but banned from driving and learnt to fly a helicopter  From little apples........... Or should that be from disqualification.:D

Graham Hill was a nice guy, and I knew him fairly well and traded some cars with him when he had the 4 Ways garage Gaddesden in Herts that must have been 1968 ish

A client's grandson has passed his helicopter licence at 16 years old i.e. before he is legally able to drive. Flew his mum to Paris. How neat is that?

My son is only 13 but I wouldn't lket him steer a tandem, let alone fly

it does happen he was doing 122mph. in france the signs are in kph so many people think they are mph and go on like that as the motorway limits are 120

Don't think that's possible. AFAIK you can fly solo (as a trainee) at 16, but not gain your licence till 17.
