too true and very nice i wanted a black one but waiting list was to long so opted for the green black metalic but would still change for a blck one if one came a long (dont let the wife know)

And to think he sat on Top Gear telling Clarkston he drove a diesel ML and was more than satisfied with it. Now wondering now how much he actually knew about the Ferrari spying caper.

he does drive a merc 4x4 but it is not diesel it is a GL500. seems like he gets his cars all mixed up.

A client's grandson has passed his helicopter licence at 16 years old i.e. before he is legally able to drive. Flew his mum to Paris. How neat is that?

My son is only 13 but I wouldn't lket him steer a tandem, let alone fly

I still stand by what I said earlier and my money is on him not owning any of the vehicles. I would guess these are all owned by Mercedes-Benz and he has whatever he wants... GL420CDI. GL500 and recently the CLK63AMG. If he were to own it, I wonder how much the insurance would be on this latest car for a 22 year old professional racing driver?

I doubt he pays any insurance. It will be part of the fleet of Mercedes-Benz owned vehicles.


My question was how much would it cost a 22yr old professional racing driver to insure a CLK63AMG?

Folks are suggesting Hamilton might own a high performance Mercedes but if they were to think things through it would be crazy to even consider doing. It might be possible to get a quote but I would expect the premium to easily exceed the value of the car.

Imagine if it had been Italy?? They would strip the car just to make sure there were no Ferrari parts, raided his house, seized his computer
