Hi Guys,

Wondering if anyone could confirm what this is on my alloy wheel? I thought it looks like mould / limescale. Strangely it only seems to appear on a couple of the alloys not all.

Also, any ideas how to remove this before I sell my car?

Thanks,

The downside of diamond cut alloys !

Happened on my E class after a couple of years
If looked after - careful when removing wheel bolts and adding/removing centre caps and washing and waxing/sealing frequently then they are fine (and in my opinion better looking), but in most cases one small chip in the lacquer and they’re going to need refurbing.

Thanks for the information guys - now to decide if it’s worth refurbing before selling the car or not to bother

Probably wouldn't bother, going to the hassle of getting it refurbed. If someone really wants your car, that ain't gonna put them off. And if your px it, won't matter anyway. Save ya money. 🙂👍
