Harrats Volvo in Sheffield have an "M" plate Volvo 850 T-5 R saloon in their showroom.
I saw it when I went in there to see an S60.

i think it had about 60k on the clock and it had everything available at the time - even electric memory seats(on a 1995 volvo!).

DEaler said it was about 5.5k to anyone interested.

Thats the car everyone wanted when we were at uni in the mid 90's.

it was amazing.

UNfortunately the fuel economy wasn't very good so I had to be sensible and walk away from it.

I did try to persuade Mrs B to take the Saab and let me drive a T-5 R and i was told it was an "embarassment" that I was even thinking about driving a yellow car!

"but its a classic!" i said.

That fell on deaf ears!

If it hasn't got a 3 pointed star on the bonnet or the grille she isn't going to drive it (unless its a Porsche Carrerra or an S40/S60!)

Indeed I have, but it's not been messed with at all (yet) so does not look as foolish as that one , and to be honest I paid a fraction of what that guy is asking. So I used it as my first step onto the MB ladder. Mine is totally original, and am led to believe it was one of the first in the country. Mine has more extras too, as it was used to launch the model. God only knows why they made a demonstrator a manual drive though, would hardly inspire anyone to buy one. And a c180 , why?

They most certainly are NOT!

Taxis have their own colour, it's a cream colour. Don't make me look up the colour code
