Little help/advice on which c63

So had to sell up over a year ago, owned a 14 plate c63 and now looking to get back in the fold and after some advice.

Budget is up to 25k and I've been looking at either a:
- 2010 model pp / ppp model
- 2011/12 Facelift

Now I'm torn, obviously the later interior is a plus yet I'm more interested in the gearbox difference, is the MCT that much more responsive? Other thought is I'm intending to have MSL map the car so is there a real need for the ppp to start with?

Any thoughts and suggestions are greatly welcome
 
If you're intending to get a mapping done to the car then get a car without ppp.
 
Think it all depends on what your using the car for. I have a 59 PP when searching for one the PP was the one I wanted because it appealed to me. But mine was never intended on being a daily driver so extra cost of discs etc didn’t matter to much. The facelift PPP cars was to new at the time I purchased mine so was out of my budget else again the PPP would’ve been the one that interested me. Of cause this was before I found this forum and was enlightened by the knowledge. But not everyone is on these forums so when it comes to selling I do think the PP or PPP are that little bit more sought after.

When I test drove pre/post FL back-to-back the gearbox improvements were noticeable, as were those of the interior. Personally, I think 18's improve the ride quality also, which you usually wont find on pp/ppp cars (I have 19's and winter 18s)

If you've had a FL, I would have thought you would want to stick with that, especially because once re-maped the pp/ppp argument is less relevant. You will probably feel more 'at home' in the familiar environment and rekindle that positive ownership experience you are seeking :)

A nice FL '63 @ £25K looks feasible, though you didn't specify body type.
 
I've got my 2010 pre facelift PPP with factory LSD for sale if you're interested. 1 previous owner, I've had it 4 years. 59k miles, FMBSH booked in for service and MOT next week (B service incl spark plugs) and just had brake pads all round. Lovely genuine car with £12k of options. Looking for £25k or near.
