Wrap some six or seven turns of gaffa tape round the socket end of your wheel wrench.It prevents scratching those precious wheels from damage.

I use fabric tape that is ment for wiring loom repairs.

Its quite thin yet very tough.

Sockets

Better still I get an old cycle innertube and cut 2" off it and fit it over the socket, job done, and enough tube to cover hundreds of sockets!
