Autoclasse - Teesside industrial estate. My AMG is currently there undergoing some suspension work. Can't praise them enough! Genuine, honest guys, both Andy & Paul. Used Merc Spec in the past, overpriced IMHO, Prestige were brilliant when they started out, looked after my CLK & ML but as they grew rapidly in a very short space of time, customer service aswell as standard of workmanship fell dramatically as the costs rose. Just my experience!

That's my experience of Prestige now too, rapidly gone down hill in service and quality. I was a bit concerned when they did some diagnostics for me, the car was misfiring really badly yet their response was "well the computer is saying it's ok, we can remove the head and clean the valves", that was the third time they'd attempted to use their computer on my car and couldn't do what they set out to.
I now work closer to Newcastle so Staithes get's my business (near the Metro Centre), very good guys and nothing is ever a problem.
+1 for Phil at Staithes. I had mine on last week for a B service, new front pads and brake fluid change £320 + vat
I can highly recommend Staithes at Dunston, near to the Metro Centre.
I have had my W211 at an Independent not far from Leicester( A forum sponsor) three times for a distinctive rattle. I have had parts changed unnecessarily. I took it to Phil and it was fixed in two hours (Alloy suspension arm and bush). He also fixed the interior lights in two minutes. Missing fuse, also due to the aformentioned forum sponsor. A story will be posted soon.
