Hey Guys,

I am in the market for an E320/E36(rare, i know!) W124 coupe, preferably in silver. I am quite happy to wait donkey's years for the right one. Does anybody know any good dealers or websites where i can check/search? I am in Ireland so any weblinks would be greatly apperciated!

Thanks in advance

Mike

Two dealers had W124 E36 coupes for sale in last month's Mercedes Enthusiast magazine (pretty astonishing, given the tiny number that made it to the UK). If nobody else has the details I will try and remember to post them tomorrow.

I think they were both silver, too!

I know you said preferably Silver but how about Green Black metallic.

52000 miles and a full service history. Doesn't have the AMG bodykit though

That car looks in great nick!

I drove one that was available here in Ireland....a 1994 E320 Silver, with the AMG bodykit. It looked nice on the outside, but was not looking too good on the inside. Anyway, i got back into my current car and would you believe I fell back in love with it! The drive in the coupe re-affirmed the reasons why I like the w210.

Thanks for the help guys!

Mike

OK, from this month's MB Enthusiast magazine (available in WH Smith) ... this dealer has two W124 E36 coupes (one silver, one blue/black) plus a 320 Sportline coupe:

There's another W124 E36 coupe (Tourmaline green) in the classifieds at the back of MB Enthusiast.

So out of 24 E36 coupes imported into the UK we found you 4 currently for sale - not bad huh?! :)

wow, thats all I can say. Will be giving them a call tomorrow. I doubt that they will be on sale for long!

That looks just like what I am after!

:D

Mercedes Crawley have been punting that around for well over 6 months and now reduced the price by £2k. Clearly not a desireable motor

Incidently, that Silver Arrows SL500 is still languishing unwanted at Western Mercedes, Edinburgh after three l o n g months. It's out of the glossy showroom and now sits in the yard!

"no demand for these cars, mate"

I am with you on that one BTB500, that interior just looks wrong, it doesn't look like a mercedes at all.

So that's actually 5, out of a supposed 24, that have come up for sale over the last year...whats the issue? People just not wanting to drive a 4-speed 3.6l motor or was there inherent problems with it?

I am starting to have misgivings now, all the more since my W210 E320 is running very sweet at the moment
