Hiya Chaps,

while wallowing in my insurance problems with my car, I have gone for some shopping therapy and bought these beauties off ebay:

Lorinser Mercedes Genuine split rims Ronal AMG S SL CL

Item no. :220475697038

The sizes are :
9J x 18" H2, Et 37, pcd 5 x 112,

I believe that the rears will be fine, but how about the 9j on the fronts, would they fit?

The seller is a decent chap, I bought a nice set of split rims off him.

I havent looked at what tyres to get yet, any suggestions on the sizes?

I saw the guide and am taking a risk in fitting, but what the hell, I had a similar pair on my GTR several years ago and they really were the business.

Would steering limiters be difficult to fit?

Has anyone tried fitting 9j on the front of a w208?

"S SL CL" seems confusing as those cars don't take the same rims!

If the wheels are designed for the s-class then you'll need spacers AFAIK. The widest tyres you should be putting on the front of a 208 is 225 or 235, rear 245 or 255 depending on tyre brand and model. At 9" wide 225/235 tyres will give no protection from kerbs at all but should fit ok.

Ask the seller, he knows his stuff and can supply anything else you may need.
