Lost W245 aerial amplifier

Having lost all but local radio stations I thought the aerial amplifier / booster would be responsible (having replaced the aerial already!).
It's not where it should be though ie behind the right hand boot storage bin ( just the parking controller there).
I've pulled off various trim bits and googled loads without success.
It's a 2010 on a 59 plate 180Cdi.
Any ideas guys?

A bit late to the party, just thought I'd ask if you ever found it. Experiencing a very similar issue here, unable to find the amp. Was it hidden somewhere or was there just no amp? I'm starting to think that there's just no amp.
