In a 906+633 with 646 manual transmission. I would like to add behind the transmission a "divorced" transfer case as NVG231 (Jeep Wrangler YJ) . The intention is to have a low gear ratio (3:1) for certain dificult trails where control is a must. In the "high position" the ratio is 1:1, so, no change at all in highway riding.
The front axle drive would be a plus, but it is not the primary goal and would be something to address in a diferent (and latter) project. (gront axle is some serious problem to solve)
¿has someone ever tried something like this or know someone sucessfully achieve that?
