Car
W205 (220d), W213 (350d), and W177 (250e)
On the E class.
It happens under 10 mph. Car park speeds.
Doesn’t matter if turning or reversing.
Something feels loose like an anti roll bar.
Usually happens after half an hour of driving. Rarely when pulling off driveway.

At motorway speed there is some vibration felt in the steering but nothing major.

Checked/replaced at 120k miles:
- control arms
- tie rods
- shocks
- wheels balanced
- new tyres all round (Michelin)
- alignment

I have used a pry bar on each wheel and simply cannot fault anything at the wheels.

Mileage is 132k
Car has a limited warranty (many exclusions above 100k) and full MB SH.

Tracks straight. Steering doesn’t feel loose or stiff.

Thanks for reading and all thoughts welcome.

Have you checked the 4 rubber bushings holding the steering rack to the front subframe ? 🤷‍♂️ They vary , but look a bit like this .

This was it. Nailed it. I replaced all 4. Had asked someone but with no response, I ended up getting the spanners out myself. Unfortunately, I did not have my phone on me so did not take photos or a video. Thank you!!
