Please recommend a lowering kit for my W124 saloon. I've seen the Eibach springs/kit which look like a reasonable price.

Anyone else running the Eibach set up? Feedback please.

Few members had them and changed as they were not good

Olly,

Do you think the B12 Kit would be too firm for a Cabriolet??

What then?

Maybe standard Sportline shocks and springs, but I'd like to go lower than standard Sportline set up. I am going to replace all the suspension. I'd like to lower by maybe 1 1/2" max.

Would like to use MB springs, maybe there are short versions of the Sportline springs that I can use do you know??

Car sits on No 1 pads in rear and is totally standard.

I would use just Eibach springs on Sportline shocks with maybe number 3 or 4 pads

I know at least two guy`s on this forum that had eibach and were unhappy from day one

What happened?

that was not the case when I bought mine and sourced from their web site.

it showed different kit numbers for the different models.

it also shows the individual spring numbers that the kit comprises, and indeed the rear springs number were the same for the coupe kits for the E220 as the E320; but this is to be expected as the rear wheels weight of car is same.

The front springs of course are different and the ones in kit ARE different for front.
