lumpy idling

recently my car has developed a few problems, firstly the idling has become lumpy, especially when sitting in traffic for a long time, also from cold the car does not start straight away at the turn of the key. also once warmed up when i start the car, the car starts up straight away but then the revs immediately drop as if trying to stall and then revs up high again and then settles down. this happens for a couple of seconds but it is abnormal behaviour for my car. ive had the a major service done last year in aug and i had the leads, dist. cap and rotor arm all changed aswell. does anyone have any ideas?

Could be blocked injectors. Get some injector cleaner from your local garage, costs about £6. Could also be an air leak from the inlet manifold. Check all your pneumatic lines and couplers from the inlet manifold.
