None of the schedules that i've seen include an oil change for the kompressor. Seems crazy it's not a maintenance item when the bloody sunroof is.
Has anyone done this oil change and what was your experience?

My near neighbours 209 CLK200K (which used to be mine!) now has nearly 270,000 miles on (and still going strong) without the compressor oil ever being touched......so maybe Merc are correct to not put it in the schedule. The pan roofs however are known for jamming/seizing and failing.....so that's understandable.

I’ve done mine 2 or 3 times buddy on my M271 CLK .
When you do the supercharger oil , wedge a cloth in all the engine grooves and recesses below the oil plug , it’s easy to drop the plug and apparently you can’t easily buy one separately .
Also when you have the drain tube into the supercharger and have found the sweet spot , leave the tube in place and remove the syringe to empty It . It saves having to find where the oil is again inside the supercharger which can be fiddly .
I used Mobil 1 jet oil , you can buy oil change kits with a tube and syringe on eBay for (£20+ ?).
A lot of the Mini forums using the same Eaton supercharger reckon every 50k miles .

I changed the compressor oil in my S55 when I bought it, it's not a bad job if you can get a syringe from an animal feed store to push the new oil in. You have to be careful not to drop the plug and lose it which would spoil your day. I used mobil jet oil which I got from a friend of mine who's an aircraft mechanic. When he gave it to me, he said that they never change this oil in jets.

I still have a bunch left over
