Mad Mercs on A21 yesterday...

Within 5 minutes of each other at about 4.20pm I was passed (on the A21 just outside Tunbridge Wells, Kent, travelling towards the M25) by an SL65 (620bhp?)and an E63.

Pretty rare cars and the only examples of each I've probably ever seen. Can't remeber the registrations though I think the SL was dark blue and the E63 black.

Amazing that few people would appreciate the differences between thses cars and their "regular" cousins. Those numbers mean so much.....

I heard a black SL65 on Park Lane June 2005 I think it was - thought it was a Ferrari byt he sound. Still an absolute classic.

They may be MAD cars but both were being driven rather conservatively...
