Hi all,
My Mb w212 e250 CDI recently thrown out a MAF fault as per below:
P010106 mass air flow sensor 1 has a malfunction. There is a algorithm fault.
No other faults, car is limited to 2.5k rpm and no boost. Does anyone have experience of this fault? Does it mean the maf sensor is faulty?
I'm in the process of cleaning the maf sensor right now looks good see pics attached. Checked visually hoses to intercooler etc. only issue is the intercooler outlet (driver side) seems a little loose at the connection e.g it has some give when turning .... Not sure if that ok, otherwise it's connected firmly not slipping out. Apart from that I can't see anything else.
Any advice from anyone who has experienced this code would help. Apologies for my lack of technical jargon.
