Just had a new polisher, the Makita 18V cordless DA, great tool.
Using 3M ultra fine compound on a blue waffle gives amazing results on my dark blue and black trims.

Nice job , now swap it for a gun and shoot whoever did the window tinting .
Factory job on these.

Very practical on larger vehicles like this, helps to keep the interior cooler and protects the interior/rear passengers from the sun’s rays

Look around and you’ll notice many cars come with factory rear tints these days :)

Looks quite heavy?

Do they come with a second battery, and roughly how long does a full charge last whilst polishing.
Excuse the questions, but a battery operated one interests me and I do like the Makita brand.

The 5.0ah battery should give a good run time.

Agree on the brand - they make good kit. I have the 36v (2x18v) SDS drill and I used it with a chisel bit to remove the existing concrete post footings on my old decking. Went through it extremely well.

Mine was a body only but I use Makita at work so have multiple 5Ah batteries and chargers.
It’s a nice solid bit of kit.

it’s not bad but yes it’s a solid tool.

Agree with the above. Makita are awesome valve. Their 6ah batteries are very long lasting.

@AMGeed. Rog. If you invest in one just let me know. I’ll send you a couple of my outgoing 3ah batteries to get you started. 👍

As in you believe it's privacy glass ?

Could do with a spare for my drill Ant. Its annoying running out of charge without a spare.
Don't mind paying for both battery and postage.

Good point, I have a 5Ah in my drill I could use.

Unfortunately it’s tint yes and drives me mad.
It was done at the dealers, it’s a nice job but hate the dot matrix pattern.
I am looking for factory glass and it’s a job on my list.
Car is great spec but clearly missed the privacy glass.

Great work, you can't really beat makita for value, i have a 5.0mah cordless drill and never lets me down and is balanced really well.
