Malfunction?

Car is '53 E320CDi Avantgarde estate.

N/S indicator repeater malfunction is showing on speedo. There is nothing wrong with the thing, all four bulbs are working. What could this be please?

What about the indicator repeaters mounted in the mirrors - do they work, too?

It is the indicator repeater in the mirror that it is flagging up as U/S. Except that it's fine and works OK all of the time. And a correction to main post. It has five lamps therein.

It could be that side mirror indicator, you may want to try changing the bulbs and inspecting all of them in that mirror if it has more than one, even if they seem to be working, sometimes faulty bulbs or poor qaulity bulbs can cause this. Worth a try if you got a spare !
