Hi guys!
I'm going to upgrade the headers of the exhaust on my w208 clk55 and was thinking to hetwrap them
Does anyone knows a reputable place where to get them from please?
Thanks in advance

The best solution to that is Zircotec. Not cheap, but superior to any wrap.

I would recommend something like Magmawrap over traditional glass fibre products. - I wrapped the manifold, turbo elbow, and down pipe on the Nissan and found that the glass fibre tends to go brittle once it has baked.

I don't know how much benefit you get on an N/A engine (other than keeping the bonnet temperatures down), but it did seem to improve my turbo's performance.

If money is no object, then ceramic coating is certainly the best option.

Ceramic is the way to go.

1) You can get all sorts of brilliant colours now.
2) It looks the dogs.
3) It works better than anything else out there.

It'll also double the value of the car.

Thanks for the suggestions guys can you please direct me to the right way for ceramic coatings what company in London or around London and roughly how much is the ceramic coating is?

Zircotec website lists their distributors:

Distributor Network - zircotec

Also have a look at their shop - they do a range of form-able heat shield products which might be ideal if you need to protect an underbonnet ecu or whatever.

BTW Zrcotec are the go-to brand for people who mess around with track-day Pug 306 GTi6s, and their heat shields come in quite useful on v6 Alfas to stop them cooking their ecus, which on later cars are mounted right above a catalytic converter. Clever. :p

+1 on ceramic coating, i used Zircotec on a V8 project, not the cheapest but a really good finish.

There are different options on the first link just thinking of CAM2 one internal and one external would that be enough for NA V8 if I don't do too many track days.
