MB Apps A45 AMG

I have A45 AMG with command.
My phone tethers for voice.
Seems to tether for data.
But the MB homepage, www page, music etc all come up with 'unavailable'???
I've tried iPhone 4 and 5 same result.
Also opening drive style app doesn't work again on iPhone 4/5 - seems to do nothing????
In UK - is my car faulty? Or am I not setting it up right?
Have ordered SAP module - and was going to put a data SIM in this - but seems pointless if the service isn't going to work.
Any pointers would be really helpful

Not sure about new A class but it is a known limitation with the iPhone that COMMAND does not support data tethering. There is a link on the Mercedes website that let's you check compatibility with your car/phone.

Comand does it as well as the iPhone but iPhone does not support BT DUN which the COMAND head unit expects.

Actually the new COMAND head units support BT PAN too, making iPhone compatible (W222 etc.).

My facelift w212 works with my iphone 5. I can get on the web and use the pointless MB apps!

Make sure you have personal hotspot turned on within the settings menu otherwise it will not work.
