The postman has just delivered a very nice Mercedes-Benz magazine. It says £3.50 on the front cover but I haven't ordered it.

It looks and smells (sad I know) very professional.

Is this due to the fact that I have recently become the proud owner of a Merc and I am now on their mailing list ?

The picture of Top Man Ayrton Senna stood in front of a 190E looks the business.

Nice article on the AMG black series but I must disagree with the consumption figures - Extra urban 32.1 mph. That must be a misprint. Somebody prove me wrong ???

I'm now going to take it to trap 2 for a read. :D

You know the average speed for the extra-urban cycle test is only 39 mph?

Oout of curiosity, what's the name of the magazine these days?

Back in 1980 when my Dad bought a new W123 300TD he started to receive In Aller Welt.

It was sent out for about 20 years before we assume he was finally dropped from the mailing list. Perhaps buying just one other new MB (the W123 230E in my sig) in thirty years didn't qualify him for a lifetime's subscription? ;)

Enjoy the mag. They used to be good reading.

Believe it or not but it's called "Mercedes-Benz Magazine'.

I think I got a single copy of it after visiting MB Bromley after some recall work...

Not had it since.

Can somebody please explain to me what 'it' is wearing on page 51 - stood behind the CLS 63 holding a suitcase ?

Car keys and clutch wouldn't even wear that excuse for a cardigan.

Perhaps it's just me who has no style. :dk:

You should enjoy it, you paid for it...:D

I used to receive that mag and maybe still do, but it's so full of marketing guff and make believe (hooray) stories I gave up reading it.

It probably has a use in trap2 alongside the Daily Wail.

I've got some quarterly Rolls Royce magazines somewhere...

I felt so special when I realised that MB has sent me something through the post.

But now I feel unwanted and unloved.

The magazine goes electronic from July, so if you still want to receive a paper copy you have to fill in and send back the freepost reply card that comes with this edition
