Had good experience with Ridgeways in buying my SLK. Praise where it is due.
I felt I had a good deal when I bought it early January including 2 free services and free first MOT.
Over the weekend the service warning "suddenly" said service A due in 30 days.
Spoke to sales and they agreed to do it free (not one of the free services) and did it today.
Very pleased with them.

If this is the one by the airport then Its good to hear this. I'm hopefully popping in tomorrow for a test drive there on my next car

Never delt with them before but also heard good things from a work mate. Aparently he has also been told by them that they are reducing their servicing costs by a fair bit as well. If I can remember I'll ask him more about it but the figure he mentioned was fairly substantial in terms of a reduction. Hopefully its not just an offer for him.

I've used them for servicing on my current C63 and my previous C55 and have nothing but good words to say about them.

I've never bought a car from them though so can't comment on their sales staff.

If this was an Approved Used car then you're supposed to have at least 3000 miles before a service is due.

So you'd done <3000 miles since purchase you're entitled to the service.

Just don't visit the parts department they have rudeness down to a fine art !!!

I also use MB Southampton for servicing and have always had good service from them. And if you ever get a serious problem they have one of the best diagnostic experts around.
