They usually disable the codes when they have sales on - I think they've got a 50% sale on at the moment.

Edited to say I'm sure you can still get 5% back through Quidco.

Cheap for oil change at the moment, bought 5 litres (already had 5L) of 229.51 which I think the list was about £38 but they have a free filter offer on, so got the oil 30% off and a £10 Hengst filter for free......came to £29 for 5L and the filter, bit of a bargain I thought.

Are those Hengst Oil filters good on Mercs? Iv always preferred the MANN ones

I'm fairly sure I've read a post somewhere where it was stated that someone had looked at a filter supplied by their dealer and it had Hengst written on it, ie the implication was that Hengst is, or was, an OE supplier.

All the oil filters I've brought from Mercedes have had hengst written on them. I now buy them from ecp for half the price.

I got 8 ltrs of Petronas full syn oil for £32:50 from carparts4less, other bits were 16 denso plugs hengst pollen filter , hengst(Mahll in box) fuel filter , hengst oil filter(bosch in box) , continental drive belt and 2 hengst air filters , total £167.67

+1 iv just serviced my OM642 V6 with 8liters of that Petronas Syntium 5000 coz I know Mercedes F1 team use that oil for their car. So far my car sounds new so i hope iv found a good oil that cheaper than Mobil1

You need to buy a couple of 1 litre bottles then. The OM642 requires 10 litres.

Ah, sorry, I didn't know they differed. My 642 takes 10 litres.

Spot on The oil and fuel comes as part of the engine package MB F1 HPE fuel and oils are supplied from Exxon/Mobil and developed in Paulsboro New Jersey in collaboration with MB HPE who are based in Northampton. Although Petronas do partly supply the fuel depending upon the location of the GP

Thats odd, my 4matic took 8.75 litres including filter to the max line.

I've just seen a banner ad at the top of the forum for melksham auto parts. This turned out to be Melksham branch of ECP, nothing too interesting there.
What was interesting is That there was a discount code shown in the advert. "PARTS25"

No club membership required, just a Google advert open to all.
