I considering buying the MBUX Built in Dash Cam via Mercedes Me! Any users out there with Build/Quality/Usage Issues?

Aren’t they ludicrously, obscenely overpriced?I considering buying the MBUX Built in Dash Cam via Mercedes Me! Any users out there with Build/Quality/Usage Issues?
At £200 and it's part of the Car already, with no Suction Cups or Magnetic Discs holding it in place, I don't it's Overpriced!Aren’t they ludicrously, obscenely overpriced?
I’ve been using mine, the biggest disadvantage I can see is that have to activate before every journey, I’ve created a short cut for loop recording which is now a ‘2 touch’ process for activation. Quality recordings but no sound though. Can’t remember the dash cam I had fitted my daughters car but that records 24/7 which helps with parked up incidents
MBUX Built in Dash Cam via Mercedes Me is proving to be a Pain!
Mercedes Me is all set up with the details of my GLB, but the only Option I have available to Purchase are:
Urban Guard and Navigation Package! The Dashcam Option isn't listed!
Maybe my "Finger Trouble" but what am I doing wrong?
The same with the wife's W213 MY21 MBUX (although not the same country if this is country specific).
Has there been any explanation? I can't play with mine as the car is in for Detailing until Friday Afternoon and I'm off to Ayrshire on Saturday, "Crack of Sparrers"!
I agree the car SHOULD have all needed, but it appears to be that new owners have to take a degree in "Sherlock Holmes Detection" before it can be used!Obviously no explanation at the "shop" and I have not asked their support. Assuming it would cost us more than I consider worth (or are prices about the same for all countries?).
The car should have everything needed for this feature.
Just pondering: Does this feature require the dual cameras as fitted to cars with Augmented Navigation, or does it work on cars fitted with just a single camera?I agree the car SHOULD have all needed, but it appears to be that new owners have to take a degree in "Sherlock Holmes Detection" before it can be used!
Phil, I don't know, I think my GLB has Dual Cameras and Augmented Navigation, may sound weird that I don't know, but I picked the car up on Wednesday afternoon and dropped it off at a Detailing Shop less than an hour later, believe me, I have been in "Cat on Hot Tin Roof Mode! ever since! I won't get it back until late this afternoon!Just pondering: Does this feature require the dual cameras as fitted to cars with Augmented Navigation, or does it work on cars fitted with just a single camera?

I think only autmented reality camera was mentioned as a prerequisite.
I spoke to my Mercedes Dealership, my car dosen't have the Option of Dashcam! But it MAY become available later! (The Cheque's in the Post) ;(

Hence my quest for Build/Quality/Usage Issues?
If I bought one from Halfords and it turned out to be Crap, I could Return it! £200 paid to Mercedes Me could be difficult to get back!
I haven't bought the Dashcam connection fron Mercedes Me as I can't access, because my GLB cannot support, so nothing to Cancel! If purchased online, do remote sales laws not apply? Check the T&C, there should be an option to cancel the transaction within 14 days at no cost to you.
