last year my missis got a "f code" fault on her A class merc (this is the code to let you know the gearbox has trouble)
unfortunatly we had to get a new gearbox( £1700)
she has just today 13 months later (out of warranty)
got the code again
i just went out & noticed transmission fluid all over my drive it looks like all of it!!
personally i dont think its the gearbox that was replaced but just a fluid losing issue
