Well when the brake servo failed on my Range Rover the local RR dealership removed the servo relay from RR sat next to it to test mine. Mine was dud. I watched them do this through the window of the workshop. No issue with that until I went to pay and they charged (tried to) me for a new relay. I had also watched them leave the other cars relay in mine when the they closed up my bonnet.

So I guess it goes on and sometimes it may be to our advantage that they can do this. Not as in the OP's case where they left bits out of his car.

I must say I've used them twice for servicing my C230K and I was quite happy with the service. They pointed out to me that had I gone to a main dealer I would have had a few items done which they didn't think were necessary as the car had only done a low mileage since the previous service (spark plugs and something else), and so they recommended that I skipped them until the next service, which saved me some money. Price was quite a bit cheaper than main dealer. Pity they're not closer to Central London as it's a bit of a trek out there.

My friend, you seemed to be a wee bit purplexed, about an Asian man being called Jack? ( I can't see how his name has any bearing at all IMHO).

The perplexing thing is a guy who registered on here 4 years ago, making his first post resurrecting a thread from 5 years ago...and then getting a post from someone questioning the op...about something posted 5 years ago.
