I have the above mentioned car and I absolutely love it! It's a well looked after car, full history 94300 miles, but, I read that the airmatic fails on this model... Should I get rid of it?

I have an 05 and the airmatic pump failed at 130000 miles. £500 to fix and the car rides like new.

Yes that's ok if it's the pump that goes but i hear horror stories of £500 a corner if the whole thing packs in?
