Mercedes 190e 3.2 AMG RHD

So this has been doing the rounds and I have ended up buying it, the thing is, I can't find anything on line and its supposedly the only RHD 190E 3.2 AMG.
The kit is genuine however it isn't factory fitted, auto transmission and started life as a 2.6 as they all did. HPI shows it as a 3.2 and the invoice is from Rivervale of Brighton who I believe sold AMG's and were a merc dealer.

I dont know if anyone can shed anymore light as I am trying to build a history file for the car, would be great to know more about it and track down any paperwork.

Yes I’m sure it’s not the only one as these were never really documented, the fact you could take a 2.6 and get the conversion done means there will be more than one. Be interesting to see your friends car, I’ve sent you a PM

Yes centre caps look awful and will be replaced. Am yet to pick the car up but I have these

I think that is what is called a sportline trim interior. If it is not too personal a question do you also have a hump in the boot floor?

Almost impossible to value without it having been on the open market.

I’ve had anything from £30-£120k. I would have thought it has to be around £40k

It’s a very limited market, the number of serious buyers would probably be counted in single digits, but they’ll have deep pockets.

There will be plenty more people who would love to own it but in reality may not either love it enough or have the money to buy it.

The true value will only really be determined by making that handful of people aware and then have an auction.

As the saying goes “find me another”. You did really well to pick it up without going for sale on the open market.

Yes rivervalve did sell amg's my w202 c43 has their sticker on rear screen and both number plates adorn their details ( original plates )

I agree with this, he did know, but wanted a quick sale and I guess it could take a while to sell, or not, it’s a crazy market. I am not looking to sell so will tidy it up and use it.
