Hi
The official Mercedes Club had an outing to the local dealer, Agnew Mercedes in Belfast today and i went along together with my 9 year old son.
Below is a selection of photographs (sorry for the size) with a bit of a narrative on what each photograph is about.
We had a lovely cooked breakfast on arrival and then a tour of the workshop, parts dept, valeting section, showroom and finally their training room for a close out.
Overall nearly 3 hours amd it was great fun to see the behind the scenes running of a major dealership together with their fantastic attention to detail.
Here we go:
Cooked breakfast for approx 30 people on arrival
Workshop with no less than 19 lifts
STAR Diagnostics
A very very heavily laden with extras 221 S Class. Pop this VIN into the EPC to you see the data card, virtually everything!!!!
Some sort of Park assist system on the S Class
Night Vision Display
Enabling Night Vision
Unorthodox way of connecting STAR, seems to be normal though
The wonderful V6 cdi engine laid bare. Boy does it look complex
Selection of MB special tools
And some more
Another view of the pristine workshop
Even keeping track of the keys in a dealership this sizes takes a well thought out system and its own key room
The cars are tracked as they go through each stage of the dealership with even a waterproof touch screen in each of the valeting bays.
Valeting is even split into various sections, wet bay dry bay etc
Look at the instruction in the dry bay. Do you think someone has OCD??? They are told to position the two front seats level and the radio off!!!
To be continued............
