Mercedes c220 2007 oil help

Hi everyone it's been a while I've just brought a 2007 mercedes c220 2.1L I'm just wondering if you can still buy the dipstick due to they never came with one I'm looking around Google but can't seem to find one only for the auto transmission, i just want to check the oil the normal way for peace of mind

There is plenty for sale all over ebay. What engine is it you t's a 2.1L turbo diesel automatic the logbook says it's a 2149cc I'm looking on line to try a find the engine number\model for you and thanks again bud trying to help me out so annoying they didn't provide a dipstick

These engines didn't come with them apparently that's why looking for a after market one the dipsticks Merc kept back for the mechanics it's a 2.1L turbo diesel automatic the logbook says it's a 2149cc ​

Could be an OM646 or an OM 651. Check the engine number from the V5
5 or 7 speed ?

Yeah ide hazard guess at 646 same as late W03s aswell. My W203 had no dipstick. But yep they are all over ebay for under 20 quid. Most of the 651s HAVE a dipstick in them. Drop the VIN in here or just look at logbook n quote engine number….

If its a 646 5-Speed I would expect two dipstick tubes,
The gearbox one will be blanked off and the engine dipstick will be present.

The 646 dipstick tube will be under the engine cover. There will not be a dipstick in it, just a red breather type bung.
