Hi all

I have a W205 coupe, with blown airbags any idea where the SRS module is located?

To reset this do I need to replace airbags, remove SRS module and send off to have the crash data removed or is there a simpler way to do this directly through OBD port without having to remove the module?

Thank you so much

It's on the transmission tunnel near the front (i.e under the stereo) (i.e safest place in the car). The reason SRS modules intentionally become un-usable after an airbag trigger is that the drivers (transistors) in the module that cause the airbag ignition can fail (so they won't work next time you need them). Correct procedure is to replace the module (and do Initial Startup etc with online Xentry Diagnosis)

Hi, according to Airbag Team UK the SRS module does not need removing as I am informed that once the airbags have been replaced it will automatically go off.

Does anyone know where the Pyro Fuse is located? I've searched high and low around the battery and can't see anything remotely looking like it. I notice quite a few people have asked this question on this forum which has gone unanswered. Please help! So I can start my car! Thank you kind people!
