No - not looking after the leather i.e never cleaning it and then conditioning it does that.
My leather heated seats are in immaculate condition.
I use Leatherique every 12 months.

Overall, the car does not look to have been looked after - the language used in the sales description says it all - my reading of the rubbish he has written would be that there is major expenditure required so he is getting rid.
