Hi,

My car ( C-CLass W205 Facelift model 2018) has the ILS headlights, but it never turns blue when I unlock the car. I've seen a couple videos with some cars with the ILS headlights turning blue for a few seconds when you unlock the car but mine doesn't, Any ideas why this is?

my headlight is the one in the picture.

It depends which ILS you have. Our SLC doesn’t do the blue light - start up / shut off - but our e class does.

My C Class has the blue lights, but my SLC lights which look identical do not.

My 2018 c class does momentary turn the daytime running lights blue when I unlock the car and this fades to white in a few seconds ...

I hadn't really noticed so I checked mine and it did this....

Is it part of the convenience lighting options ?

hi, well when I unlock the car at night, the ILS doesn’t come on in the front

May need turning on in the vehicle settings menu either on the infotainment system or the instrument cluster.

I'm not sure where as command and audio 20 are different systems.
Might be something I need to hold off until I get it serviced then get it checked, annoying tho

I have the same car, my blue lights when unlocking the car stopped working, the same as adaptive head light, however there’s not fault displayed within the cluster. any ideas on how to solve this? TIA

One of my DRL's doesn't light anymore, from what I can gather on the 'net, the LED controller is likely to have failed, not the headlight unit itself.
Although I do get a warning every time I start the car. I think you need someone with STAR to investigate further, as I do!
