Mercedes Me 2012 EClass

Having purchased a 2012 Mercedes E350. I found a widget which fits in the old socket.
Looking at the labels on it, it seems to be to do with Mercedes Me?
I have registered an account and got the app but I go to assign a vehicle using the VIN it won't accept it.
Any advice appreciated.

You must be talking about the Mercedes Me Adapter product. It does not work with the current Mercedes Me app, would need the Mercedes (Me) Adapter app but my understanding is that the app has been discontinued.

Correct, the Mercedes me adapter is no longer supported.
