Because the rules for adverts in classifieds say:

"Buy and sell items here. Wanteds too. Commercial ads will be removed. Be advised that you cannot reply to classified threads, and you need to have made 30 posts in other forums before you can submit an advert."

A rule designed to stop people posting an ad and not contributing anything else.

Still its not up to me, its up to the moderators.

It's true, the rules say no advertising - unless we have agreed it before hand and you have a club offer that is over and above any other offer you have running. The Specialists section is also intended for people to recommend garages, not for garages to announce themselves, but as you have a 25% discount on offer to MBClub members for their first visit, I think that is a fair comprimise of what we are trying to achieve and as you are not selling anything in particular, the location of your post is also fair enough.

This post will be left here, so feel free to join in with advice and your experience on the forum as I see you have been.

Just to confirm the above, i took the C43 down to Steve to have the Auto Dimming Glass wired and fitted to the door mirrows. It was a great pleasure watching him and his friend work, the amount of wiring on the C43 is incredible, he came across a couple of problems which was not a problem, if you know what i mean, he also fitted the extended Comand face which Steve NL had sent me.

I highly recommend Steve and his friend for the professional way they conduct themselves .
