Mercedes W211 2006 side lights

An someone please tell me if I can change my feeble yellow side lights for something brighter. I have just been to Custom LED in Team Valley Gateshead who tried to fit two new bulbs but although they worked they both faulted on my dash.

yes you will get a canbus error as the low voltage of the led
you need to find led lights with a canbus bypass
