I'm thinking about getting the CDs and DVDs available on ebay. Are they any good for a novice?

I just bought a set for a bout a £5. I will let you know when/if they arrive.

But even if its crap its only a £5.

Worth every penny!

They are a bit difficult to navigate till you get into the way MB organises them. I can only comment on the ones for the older models which are basically photocopy pdf's of the original printed manuals. Still worth their weight in gold tho.One pdf might save you loads of money on its own :D Some are available online at http://mb.braingears.com/ to give you an idea. They are slow to load over the net compared to having them on CD.

i got the 2 dvd version of the WIS, they are well worth it, i bit fiddly to install, lots of instructions to follow, but once up they are great.
As mentioned, you need to play about for ages to realise the potential in them as they are a nightmare to navigate around - but a myriad of useful information.

If anyone here has the epc upto 2004, whats that like, can i buy a "backup"
