Can you assist.

Can you supply a rear / nearside LED circuit board for a C63 AMG ?
(indicator light faulty)

Cheers

Are c63 lights different from other 204's?

Common fault, have you spoken to the dealer about it for a warranty claim? Even if not under warranty ask them to speak to MB UK for goodwill gesture / contribution.

Hi,

That's not available in the aftermarket - only available from MB

As they suggested, MB should give you a chance with a good will claim, as it can't be classed a consumable!

Local MB garage said the LED circuit board is not covered under warranty.

Thanks.

Thanks.

mine went on the second day of ownership
they ran round like lunatics apologizing and fixed it with a new circuitboard
it was never going to be anything less than under warranty

Not the point, it is a known fault and you would expect it to last alot longer anyway. Get the dealer to push MB UK to fix it for free as a goodwill gesture or at least contribute towards the cost.

We had the same with the TT recently, cars out of manufacturers warranty, dealer got Audi UK to pay the full cost to repair as a goodwill gesture.

Without a doubt - If its a proven fault from a car which is 2weeks old (as above) then the manufacturer should take responsibility.

A chat qith the sales manager, and if not a letter to MB HQ should solve it!

Thanks for all the info folks.

Can anyone enlighten me with regards to the 'proven fault'.

How common a fault is it ?
Is it LED lights in general that have this fault ?
What exactly is / causes the fault ?
Is it just unique to the C63 ?

The only reason I ask is that I can be prepared when I speak to MB.

Cheers.
