Mirrors

Hello, I don't have electronic mirrors on my SLK250d 2015, however, I've tried to fold them in manually but they're not moving.
Are they fixed, or do I need to get heavy with them?

I am pretty sure that they should fold manually, those on my W204 did. Also, they are meant to fold on light impact to prevent damage e.g. when driving too close to a parked car etc.

Thanks, I'll put a bit more effort in tomorrow morning.
I'm visiting family in Bristol, the parking is very limited and I'd prefer them out of the way!
