Missing oil filter o ring

Serviced the vehicle last year myself, no issues, serviced it today but noticed the o ring circled in pic is missing from oil filter housing cap!

Tried using a pick in an attempt to try and find the o ring inside the oil filter housing but to no avail

Could this cause any damage?

Doubt it buddy, i Wouldn’t worry especially as there is nothing you can do now anyway
